At Ausome Minds UK, equality, respect, and inclusion are not add-ons to what we do - they are the point of it.

Our approach is rooted in the Neurodiversity Paradigm and the Social Model of Disability. We believe that diversity is a strength, and that every human being has innate value and brings unique experiences, perspectives, and identities worth valuing.

We are committed to promoting equality and combating discrimination based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, neurodivergence, age, class, or any other characteristic.

Identities intersect - our niche topic is the 'Double Rainbow' intersection of Neurodivergence and LGBTQIA+ identities, and recognising how privilege and marginalisation combine is integral to our work.

We strive to ensure that everyone we work with - clients, event organisers, agencies, partners, associates, suppliers, and our social media community - is treated with dignity and respect.

Individuals have differing needs and preferences, so we actively work to remove barriers to participation and access rather than expecting people to ask for exceptions.

We pledge to continuously review and improve our own practices and culture to uphold this commitment. We remain curious, and teachable - and we welcome feedback from anyone we work with as we play our part in building a more equitable and supportive world.

Through our work, we aim to help create workplaces and communities that enable people with all kinds of minds - through accessible working practices, policies, environments, and expectations - where every individual is valued, respected, and empowered to live authentically and fully.

We want this website, and everything we deliver, to be accessible.

In our own work, that looks like: image descriptions on our social media posts, accessible slide design, anonymous ways to participate in our sessions (via Slido), and a genuine welcome for adjustment requests of any kind - no justification required.
